• Supply chain optimization (value management)
• Strategic purchasing (portfolio analysis, commodity management, supplier marketing, contract management, internal organisation)
• Sourcing strategies (single/dual/multiple; global/local; modular/system; global value sourcing etc.)
• Make-or-buy decision (analysis, assessment, decision; core, key and standard competencies)
• Organisational structure and business processes
• Negotiating competence (ANC, game theory, auctions)
• Supplier-integrated product development process (simultaneous engineering, material and parts release process, models), logistically coherent product influence
• Project purchasing (development, large-scale and investment projects)
