Detaillierter Inhalt:
0) Warm-up: Kick-off, getting to know each other, group introduction, and clarification of the term “New Work”
1) Impact on the organization
In the current era, which is characterized by globalization, dynamic change, and advancing digitalization, companies are facing new challenges (Werther & Bruckner, 2018). What are the implications for companies, and what is changing for the organization as a whole?
2) Impact on managers
New Work not only has an impact on the organization as a whole, but also on leadership behavior and expectations of managers. Changing conditions in the world of work mean that employees' demands are constantly evolving. This section presents new leadership styles and their theoretical foundations and analyzes their impact on employees.
3) Impact on the team
The enormous changes brought about by New Work in the world of work are leading to new conditions for teamwork. Digitalization is making international teams that work together virtually and in networks using digital media increasingly important (Hackl et al., 2017). This section shows what is particularly important for all team members to consider in this context. Participants learn about trending topics such as crowdworking and service robots as service providers (Bertelsmann Stiftung, 2021).
4) Impact on individuals
New Work not only has an impact at the organizational or team level, but also has a noticeable effect on individual employees in various ways. Changes in the world of work are simultaneously changing the needs and demands of employees. In order to respond to this, attitudes, culture, and leadership must change in the long term. This, in turn, gives rise to new forms of work (Hackl et al., 2017). This section takes a detailed look at work-life blending and the knowledge society in particular (Schuldt, 2015).
5) Management of the digital transformation towards an agile organization
The extensive changes bring with them a variety of challenges for organizations. A detailed change process is essential in order to steer and drive forward the digital transformation in a targeted manner. People are the driving force behind the implementation of the projects and must be inspired and engaged through targeted communication.
6) Conclusion and reflection, including individual assignment
